​Starting from the concept of “Cimarrones” I was aiming to inspire through music a sense of freedom and renewed human dignity. The idea was to bring native african chants and percussions to a modern and fresh environment in the style of Afro Beat music. This was the perfect soundtrack to the video I made to show the process behind this beautiful collective effort.
